Soulmates Part 1

AWOL for a month. Sorry.

But my life was really great for the past 4 weeks ~o~
Those were the weeks when I realized that soulmates exist.
And you don't have to marry soulmates.
I have thought then that my life was planned. I was destined to meet people.
We all are.

Relationships maybe shallow.
Relationships maybe short.
 But they were there.
In one way or another,
they have changed something.

I am in an uncanny way,
greatful that my mom lose her job two years ago.
I have to look for a job then.
I wasn't that happy  juggling nursing school and english tutorial every single day.
My grades suffered so as my health. But I wouldn't change a thing.
I met wonderful people during those troubling times, people from work and people that I called students but weirdly became my "virtual" bestfriends.

For Judy: The older sister I wish I had. We've only seen each other through Skype but it felt like I have known you forrrr ever. Our thoughts are so similar.
Our feelings about things are cloned.
When I'm talking to you, I seriously consider the idea that you are a part of my past life,
 given reincarnation exists.

For Kim So Yeon: The little sister. Without even a video, I still feel the comfort and compassion that's absolutely not found in an ordinary "tutor-student" relationship.
I see myself in you, during my teen years,
only you are much sweeter, stronger and braver.

For Daniel: I would still be firm in saying, you're the most polite
and sensitive person I have ever met.
Koreans, Filipinos, Americans, etc. combined.
Thank you for teaching as manners when we're supposed to do it for you.

For Jim: The carefree attitude is in you. The carefree attitude that 18 year old boys should freely have. It's annoying at times, but it's often lovable. And before I forget, your eyes are the best :)

To be continued... ~o~

  1. I'm also happy that I found a good friend in you. Although this post isn't about me, it cuts me, very deep. I hope to see those soul mates of ours real soon. It's sad for good byes, though we had a good time, didn't we?
