Every single day during my elementary years, I would never fail to vacate my chair that was graciously located at the back of the classroom. 

I would creep forward while my teacher was having her class because with “unknown” reasons, I cannot comprehend what she was writing on the board.

Every afternoon, I would expertly squat two feet away from our television set because I simply cannot see “clearly” what Tom and Jerry were doing.

In Grade 6, I kind of got sick of the everyday routine of always plunging myself in front of “everything” just because they were not “clear” enough.

So I told my mother dear. 

After a visit to the clinic, I received my first ever eyeglasses prescription. Then two days after, I found myself wearing some stinky pair of plain-black spectacles.

 I felt like a grandmamma at 12.

Nine years after, I had own approximately five pairs of eyeglasses. I am into the affordable kind which sometimes does not offer the needed good quality for a long term use. The inexpensive ones would either easily lose their color or snap during the most unusual circumstances. And yes, they are more often than not, boring in design.

Cheap glasses that will give you the confidence that you need are a little hard to find nowadays. People would usually invest to expensive brands because “the good ones” can’t be great. Glasses should never become a burden to people like me! I mean, common guys, we are already destined for a life time blurry life escapade (unless you choose LASIK which I think is pretty scaryyyy) that we deserve better!
